Brice Timmons

Brice Timmons is an Attorney at Donati Law, PLLC, focusing primarily on Civil Rights and Education Law. Throughout his career, he has fought to uphold the rights guaranteed under the United States Constitution, primarily through litigation under 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act. His areas of practice focus on the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments, especially as they relate to due process, jail and prison conditions and medical care, and police misconduct.
Mr. Timmons is also one of the few attorneys who have obtained injunctive relief for college students accused of sexual misconduct. In addition to handling due process denials, Mr. Timmons helps survivors of sexual assault and disabled students of all ages and education levels who face discrimination at school in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. He also helps both adults and children with mental and emotional disabilities who have been subject to civil rights violations, malpractice, neglect, and abuse.
As an attorney, Mr. Timmons has a unique understanding of vulnerable populations and works to help ensure protective laws leave no one behind. He has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Memphis and earned his Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
Mr. Timmons is a veteran, having served in the Southern European Task Force (SETAF) and 173rd Airborne Brigade of the United States Army. He continues to be involved with issues affecting U.S. military veterans as the Chairman of the Shelby County Veterans Court Foundation. He devotes his pro bono practice to helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and working to reform jail and prison conditions.
